Amanda Brehm, DVM
Oncologist
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)

Dr. Amanda Brehm is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia. During vet school she realized her passion for treating pets with cancer and decided to pursue the specialty of oncology. She completed her residency training at Texas A&M University and is board certified in veterinary oncology.
Dr. Brehm is passionate about all forms of cancer therapy, but has particular interest in immunotherapy, personalized medicine and the use of cancer biomarkers for early cancer detection. She understands that a cancer diagnosis can be terrifying and overwhelming, and wants to be a part of that journey with pet parents from diagnosis to end of life care. She enjoys working closely with other specialists to coordinate the best possible treatment plan for each individual pet.
Dr. Brehm is thrilled to now call Texas her home! She has two dogs (Chrysta and Piper) and two cats (Dexter and Andy) that keep her busy. Outside of work, Dr. Brehm enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, and baking!
